Year 6 Athletics Competition

"On Thursday morning on the 24th of February, some of the year 6 children went to the University of Hertfordshire to compete in the District Athletics competition.  We proudly stood in the stands of the gym waiting to be called in to compete.  Sometimes competing, sometimes standing, always loyal to Oakwood.  Finally the results came, overall we came 4th.  We all enjoyed our first big event, who cares we didn't win, we had fun and we participated."
