Pupil Voice and Question and Answer Time

At Oakwood, we value the views of our pupils and also want Oakwood to be the best it can be. With this in mind, the children are invited to ask the Headteacher about the running of the school, their curriculum, extra-curricular activities and suggest ways in which Oakwood could be improved. 

Through the first half of the summer term, each class had a "Treasure, Tweak, Trash" session where children had the opportunity to talk about and share their views on what they love about Oakwood and want to keep; what they would like to change and what they do not like and want to "trash". We have collected the views from all classes and we found there were 15 most common themes. We shared these with children during Key Stage Assemblies in June 2024.
