Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at Oakwood
Some children may have learning, physical, emotional, behavioural or other special needs which may require special support or provision over the long or short term. Their needs are identified and assessed according to the national ‘Code of Practice’ and support is provided in school, or sometimes from outside agencies for those who need it.
If you think your child may have a special educational need, please contact our special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) Ms J Stubbs BSc(Hons) PGCE, PGCert SEN (NASENCO), to discuss this. You can contact the SENCO via email (senco@oakwood.herts.sch.uk), or via the school office.
