Breakfast & After School Care - Jousters

Jousters Childcare are Ofsted registered and provide a limited number of places for breakfast & after school care at Oakwood School.

Subject to availability, children attending the school from Reception through to Year 6 are welcome to join us. We are open Monday to Friday 7.50-9.00am & 3.10-6.00pm. We are registered for 60 children each day.

Whilst children are in our care, we believe Jousters has an opportunity to support children with their social skills such as sharing, taking turns, being polite and respecting each other and staff.

We work closely with the children's teachers to make sure each child has the best care possible. We believe children should be able to join in with a range of fun activities and should be encouraged to play, create, build and do, or simply relax & socialise with their friends.

Food - Children are offered a healthy breakfast of toast with low sugar jam, honey or marmite, a choice of cereal such as Weetabix, Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and fresh fruit.  After School children are offered a vegetarian afternoon snack consisting of a sandwich with low sugar spreads, cheese or marmite, fresh fruit, vegetables, and a biscuit.
