'The Big Ambition' Survey
Wed 10 Jan 2024We have been asked by Dame Rachel De Souza, Children's Commissioner for England, to forward you the link for her 'The Big Ambition' survey.
So far more than 300,000 children, young people, parents and carers have participated, making it one of the largest surveys of its kind, and now it is our chance to get involved.
The survey closes on Friday 19th January, and by completing it, we will help make sure that every child in England has an opportunity to share their views with policy makers ahead of the General Election and that the people of St Albans are fairly represented in the results.
Children and parents or carers can complete the survey here: www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk/thebigambition

Herts Music Choir
Thu 04 Jan 2024Exciting opportunity from Herts Music Service:
St Albans Musical Voices - Find Your Musical Voice!
This is an exciting opportunity for children in Years 2 - 5 to find their musical voice.
We specialise in offering a safe space where children can come and sing whatever their ability. We create a friendly nurturing environment where each child can develop their own unique voice. The children will learn all aspects of singing, whilst singing enjoyable music, and having lots of fun. No previous experience necessary. Workshops with visiting specialists, performance opportunities and progression routes all part of the fun. Please note this activity takes place outside school, at St Albans Music School – Thursdays 4:30 – 5:30pm, starting 11th January.
For more information and to sign up, please visit https://www.hertsmusicservice.org.uk/st-albans-music-school, and scroll to ‘Something for Everyone’.

Santa Dash
Tue 19 Dec 2023Thank you to everyone for supporting our annual Santa Dash. Our school council chose Essex and Herts Air Ambulance as their nominated charity this year after they presented a hugely informative assembly to us earlier in the term.
Following the run we received this message of thanks:
“a huge thank you for your support. I’ve seen your just giving page following the Santa Dash and all I can say is Wow! What an incredible fundraiser!” Together, we have raised over £1000 – many thanks for your generosity"
