LKS2 Speed Stacking Competition
Cameron, Charlotte, Olivia, Matthew, Sophia, Lisia and Billy did a fantastic job representing Oakwood at the Speed Stacking competition on Tuesday. The Oakwood team competed in the 3,3,3 and the 3,6,3 individual and group events. The aim is to upstack and downstack the cups as quickly as you can and we were quick! Oakwood came an outstanding 6th out of the 13 schools participating. A special mention must go to Lisia who came 2nd in the 3,6,3 individual event achieving a phenomenal time of under 7 seconds. Miss Bird also came 2nd in the teacher 3,3,3 event with a time of 4.19 seconds which she is very proud of. All our speed stacking team had an enjoyable morning and teachers from other schools commented how kind, encouraging and polite our children were.
