IMPORTANT - COVID-19 - RETURNING TO SCHOOL INFORMATION

General Information for Returning to School – June 2020

Further to my letter of 21st May, when your child’s year group is eligible to return to school you will receive an email with all the arrangements for returning to school.  You will also be told your child’s individual dates, times and collection points.

Teachers will also let you know if there is anything else your child needs to bring.

 

For the health and safety of all members of the school community, you must read the information and letters provided. 

 

When you receive this email you will need to complete a survey link to confirm whether or not you will be sending your child back to school.

You will also need to confirm whether your child will require a school packed lunch.  Children who are in receipt of free school meals will receive a school packed lunch unless we are informed otherwise.

Due to a change in home circumstances, if you believe you might now be entitled to Free School Meals for your child, please apply at:  www.hertsdirect.org/freeschoolmeals

 

**You must not send your child to school if he/she or a member of your household is unwell**

Please make sure you check the Public Health England guidance for the latest information regarding symptomatic pupils, testing and isolation.

CONTACT - Do not call at the School Office in person for any reason. 

If you need to contact school, please use the admin email address: admin@oakwood.herts.sch.uk or by telephone on 01727 753930. (Do not use the phase emails on days when your child is attending in school.)

Unfortunately, teachers will not be available to meet with you before or after school. Any vital contact, should be marked FAO your child’s teacher via email at the admin email address above.
